Teeter Irrigation Scholarship Program

Teeter Irrigation, Inc. is offering a $500 scholarship to the schools in Southwest Kansas and Southeast Colorado, and also a chance to win an additional $500 scholarship selected from the pool of receiving recipients.  In an effort to spread awareness of the depleting water in our area, Teeter Irrigation, Inc. is asking students to research and write an essay on:

Essay CONSISTS OF:

  • The economic impact of water for your area.

  • The consequences of not having use of the aquifer for the agricultural, municipal, and industrial needs of your area.

  • What your generation can do to prolong the use of water for future generations.

Essay Format:

  • Minimum of 500 words

  • Times New Roman

  • 12 pt

  • Double Spaced (Does NOT include Title page or Bibliography)

  • APA or MLA Format

Deadline:

  • March 31st
